Dorsy E. Balossa
is an author, consultant, and advocate for attunement and empowerment. Born in Dakar, Senegal, she earned her bachelor’s in Gender, Women’s, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Iowa and her master’s in Social Work from Texas State University, holding credentials as a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW).
Through her work as a consultant and advocate, she helps individuals, organizations, and communities educate, elevate, and empower themselves. Specializing in trauma-informed care, attachment, and advocacy for Black women, her work centers on awareness, attunement, and compassion.
